2020 National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law (credit card)

March 20 - 21, 2020
Columbus, Ohio
2020 Topic: "Parental Right to Counsel in Private Adoption"

Teams of law students from across the country will demonstrate their advocacy skills as they present legal arguments at the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law Friday March 20, 2020 at the Ohio Statehouse and Saturday, March 21, 2020, at the Supreme Court of Ohio Judicial Center in Columbus, Ohio.

If schools chose to register two teams, please remember that they will be competing as separate entities and placement in the competition and in the elimination rounds will be solely by scores and performance. This means that it is possible to encounter your school's second team at various stages of the competition. Since there should be no disclosure of school affiliation, this helps to insure the integrity of the competition. Performance is the only factor.
